epotokerElaine S. Potoker (Ph.D., The Ohio State University; MAT, University of Chicago; B. A. SUNY, Potsdam, N.Y.) has over 20 years of experience in international business, and has traveled extensively domestically and overseas in a management, sales and marketing, and training capacity. She is the owner of Interloqui®, a company that specializes in business development issues, including, but not limited to organizational design for optimization of performance at home and overseas, organizational learning and behavior, human resource management, international marketing and communications, and promotional development. She is formerly Coordinator of Central American Sales, Reed Mfg. Co., Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Her current affiliations include member and former Board Member of Rotary International (…She is an avid Rotarian); member of Maine International Trade Center. She is also a former Board member of the Cleveland World Trade Association, and listed in Who’s Who: “Women in Business”, “Women in International Business”, and “Women in Education”. Dr. Potoker is a recipient of two prestigious Fulbright Awards: In 2007, she was an invited researcher at the Research Institute of Economic Science (IICE) and Visiting Professor, teaching in the area of Strategic Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of Costa Rica, at the main campus in San Pedro Montes de Oca, near San José, and again in 2012 when she was invited back to the IICE to conduct further fieldwork in the realm of logistics and Costa Rica’s relative competitive advantage in the region.

Elaine Potoker recently served as an invited panelist and “research expert” on the topic of “Post-traumatic-event (disaster/emergency) Recovery Techniques for Airports” for the Airport Cooperative Research Program of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, Washington, D.C.
